Supportive Solutions in Times of a Government Shutdown
At FBFCU, we recognize the financial difficulties our members may experience during challenging times. If you are employed by an affected government agency, we have assistance options available to help ease your financial burden.

Salary Advances
Members with an established direct deposit of 90 days or more are eligible to receive up to two months’ pay on their scheduled payday
Maximum advanced amount is $15,000 for the two months
Quick Loans
Eligible members can obtain a loan of up to $2,500 and defer the first 3 months of a 15-month loan (12 payments)
To ensure affordability, the interest rate is fixed at prime + 0.50% APR
Auto-pay is required and makes repayment easy
Additional Skip-a-Pay
Available for members with an existing FBFCU loan
Members can benefit from this option at no charge, even if they have previously skipped a payment within the last 12 months

Member must be employed by a government agency affected by the shutdown to qualify for these assistance solutions. Must be a Credit Union member in good standing. Direct deposit from an impacted federal agency and other qualifications may apply. An "impacted federal agency" is a federal government agency that is currently without federal funding. All loans and terms are subject to credit approval.
